Refund Policy

Everything I sell is a digital file. Once a file has been downloaded, it cannot be returned in any meaningful way, so the rules below are written around that reality.
Ready-made downloads
Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are not accepted once a file has been downloaded, unless the file is defective or materially not as described on the product page.
If a file is broken, corrupted, missing layers that were promised, or simply does not match its description, email me within 14 days of purchase and I will either fix the file or refund you in full.
Custom commissions
Payment terms for commissions are agreed individually for each project, there is no fixed deposit percentage. Whatever portion has been paid upfront covers the slot reserved in my schedule and the work already in progress, so it is non-refundable once sketching has begun.
If you cancel mid-project, you are only charged for the work completed up to that point, rounded fairly. Anything paid beyond that is refunded within 14 days.
If you opted to pay the full amount upfront to kickstart the project instantly, the same rule applies: only the work actually done is kept, and the remainder is returned.
Once the final files are delivered and downloaded, the commission is considered complete and refunds are no longer possible.
Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please write to me first. I would much rather solve it directly than through a payment processor, chargebacks cost both of us time and money.
How to ask
Email ptak@inbox.eu with your order or project reference and a short description of the problem. I usually reply within one working day, and approved refunds land back on the original payment method within 5–10 days.
